Cast loads for 375 winchester
I'm looking for cast load info. in 375win. Any info will be appreciated. These loads will be used in a rifle so full throttle or mild loads are welcomed. Thanks. My rifle is an t/c encore.

Re: Cast loads for 375 winchester
I haven't loaded any up yet but gonna use Unique for 1100fps or so, and 2400 for 1600fps. Using laser-cast 249gr FP's sized to .377. What rifle you shooting? I have a Marlin.
30/30 Winchester: Not accurate enough fer varmints, barely adequate for small deer; BUT In a 10" to 14" barrelled pistol; is good for moose/elk to 200 yards; ground squirrels to 300 metres

What's your firearm the 375 Win. is in? Just curious. I'm sloooowly getting my components gathered up for my Savage 99. Going to try some Montana Bullet Works 300 grain and some Ranch Dog's 235 grain cast. I've tried Hornady's 235 grain jacketed with H335 but didn't group as well.

Coupla good sources I use:
AmmoGuide.com and LoadData.com - both require a modest fee (less than the cost of a single reloading manual), but the AmmoGuide site allows awesome search and 'what-if' stuff, and has both 'factory' and 'user' data, and the LoadData site is all 'factory' data.
I'd quote you some loads from them, but
a) it isn't ethical to copy and give out information from a paid site, and
b) I let my memberships expire and need to renew them, so have limited access.
I'm sure fellows here who've loaded lots of 375's will pipe up with lots of good loads, though. I have a 375 but am still shooting up the factory loads I got for it before reloading those cases.

I run 36.0 gr. of RL7 with the 235 gr. Ranch Dog. Shoots as good as any jacketed load I've tried.
