Re: 190 gr. 357 recipe
Greetings
I shoot a 185 grainer with gas check in my Marlin and Dan Wesson.
Start load for both was 12 grains of 296 and I worked up from there. I stopped at best accuracy. You will find that somehwere past 12 grains. I do not know how long the cylinder is on that S&W but the DW lets me crimp on the first grease groove so I have and extra long cartridge.
You may have to trim brass to get a cartrige that will be interchangable in both... Ask me how I found that out. 11 grains was that start load. 12 grains was about all the shorter brass would handle. That is a stout load by the way. My DW 357 easily handles it.. your S&W is another matter. My Marlin has a short stomack and long cartriges will never feed.

I shoot 13.5grs of 2400 behind a gas checked 180RNFP Saeco. Drop down to 11.5 grs and work up.
30/30 Winchester: Not accurate enough fer varmints, barely adequate for small deer; BUT In a 10" to 14" barrelled pistol; is good for moose/elk to 200 yards; ground squirrels to 300 metres

If you're after full throttle loads, look no farther than LilGun. I shoot a 185 gr. RFN with 15.0 gr. of LilGun. It'll make you stand up and pay attention! Does 1320 fps outta my Blackhawk, and 1780 from a 20" levergun.
