OT.....Ruger grips
I bought some LETT grips for my flattop 44 awhile back, and wan't some more .I understand Lett ain't in business anymore, question is who's making them for Ruger now!
Noone at the moment is making wood grips for their single actions.
They're phasing out wood grips in lieu of the hard plastic.

...and I don't think he even knows it...Walks around with a half-assed grin...If he feels fear, he don't show it. Just rides into hell and back again.

Check this guy's work out. You should be impressed and he only fits Rugers. I know, I know, there's a lot of guys trying to get him to do others. Until then... http://www.clccustomgrips.com/

4t5,
Here is the set of American holly grips CLC http://www.clccustomgrips.com/
made me for my Ruger. The grip frame is the older XR3 from a flattop:

These are actually yellower than they appear in the pics. I asked for them to be made that way.
Carry Chapman makes wood grips from woods I've never heard from.
I highly recommend his work. Check his site out, you'll be astounded at what he makes.

+1 for Cary C's grips. Check out his site for some really beautiful work. I have a pair of American Holly's on order for my New Vaquero, once I get the gun and grips on I will post some pics. He is also an excellent guy to do business with. The guys on the Ruger Forum speak very highly of him and his work. Jim
