Howdy,
New guy here in western Co. I have been lurking a while and figured I better come into the fire light. I shoot and cast for .357 lever (rossi 92) and 30-30 (Marlin 336) I just picked up another 336 to send to JES to rebore to 444.

Welcome to the forum Joe, I'm new here myself. Friendly bunch here, I think you'll like it.
I used to go up to Salida every summer for assesment work on some molybdenum claims. I went for the fishing more than the work though

Welcome Joe! Gorgeous country you've got there in sight of the mighty San Juans. Montrose is where I picked up my 1917 Win 94 SRC at a pawn shop some fifteen winters ago traveling back from a trip to Steamboat. Still perhaps my favorite rifle. Glad you're here!

Yep,
the fishin here is great - I can be on the grand mesa, set up, beer in hand and line in the water in less than an hour!

Welcome from Arkansaw, I have a 94 Winchester that Jes rebored to 38-55 and it is a fine shooter as is my Rossi 92 .357, you'll enjoy this place.
