Batman and Rabbit

Post by 86er »

This afternoon Brandon and I strolled the back fence line and fields around the house looking for small game, doves or woodcock. He shot at a few doves but did not connect. We talked about lead and he became interested in shooting a running rabbit. Two rabbits ran but the shots were a bit behind them. The third did not make an all-out run but more of a hop-hop-hop, pause, hop-hop-hop. It was still on the move when this shot connected. Batman got his running rabbit with his 1939 Iver Johnson Champion - stock fitted to him and balanced and choke altered to IC - of course!

Government office attracts the power-mad, yet it's people who just want to be left alone to live life on their own terms who are considered dangerous.

History teaches that it's a small window in which people can fight back before it is too dangerous to fight back.

You captured a hunting photo with enough 'macho' for the guys, and enough 'cute' factor to make mom's take a second look.
