Tutt's Grandma Passed On

Post by CowboyTutt »

To my friends on the board, I just got word that my Grandma in Kansas passed on. I don't know how many of you read my post of my "great road trip" to Kansas last summer, but my 2002 Volvo Cross Country had total transmision failure as I entered western Kansas, and I was forced to spend two weeks there instead of the few days I had originally planned. While this caused some minor problems with work, it was not a big deal. Even then, it seemed to me that there was probably a reason for it, so I didn't think much about it. Well, since I left, her health has gone progressively down hill, and tonight she passed on. I have two grandmothers of the same age, and while I love them both very much, I have to confess, my Kansas Gma was my favorite. She was so easy to live with, and my Dad (her son) who passed on years ago, really adored her. I learned why that is in the years since.

I look foward to meeting my Leverguns family March 15th in SoCal, but until then I will be gone to deal with family matters.

Thank you all for your friendship.

Take care,
I wasn't close to my dad, but i still miss my grandma.

Was out with family a couple months ago and took my
glasses off for a minute, bro said I looked just like her,
best compliment I had all year!

I hope all is well with your family and safe travels.

You have our prayers Tutt.
When my grandmother passed I had taken off to go see her in the hospital. When I got to her room she wasn't there and the bed was freshly made. It made me feel real empty inside.
