Fellas a prayer please for our 4 mo. grandson.

Post by Topside »

Heavenly Father, I ask you now in Jesus' Name to come and touch Charlie, heal him, deliver him from this illness.

God, give him the strength to fight this illness. Stay with him through the discomfort he goes through. He is weak, where You are strong, he is vulnerable where You are unassailable. With You to guide him, I know he will be well. Amen.

Guys I use the above prayer a lot. Helps me to see it in print I guess. Please say one of your own for our 4 month old grandson, Charlie Williams. He's going into the hospital this morning with respiratory problems. No word on just how serious yet. Will keep you informed. Thank you.

Having all of you friends on board is very comforting. My wife and I just got back from the hosp. Charlie has this Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) and a bit of pneumonia which has been caught very early. He's on IV fluids and anti-biotics and will spend the night with his parents tonight at the hospital. Hi cough is bothersome to me but he is very alert and bright eyed when awake. Tonight we're confident as the fluids and anti-biotics kick in he'll have a good night, and I'll have a good report by late morning tomorrow. God bless you all and thank you.

Prayers sent. Good thing that it was caught early so that he didn't have to suffer too long before treatment. RSV is tough on young ones. He was already being looked out for.

As of an hour ago, they are leaning toward letting Charlie go home from the hospital today. They did not have to put him on oxygen. I was pretty worried yesterday as were his parents and rest of the family. Pneumonia, RSV.......not good words for anybody much less a little one. Be ok with me if they kept him another night, but I'm not the Doc.

Thank you for your prayers and thoughtful comments. Three families thank you. I will give another update on him maybe tomorrow if he has a good night tonight. His Baptism is this Sunday unless someone thinks it wise to put it off a bit.

Charlie and the rest of us are breathing easier thanks to the Lord and our friends here.
Well I better hang up. I haven't blubbered yet, but I been close! :|

Well, Charlie's spent the last 3 nights at home. He's doing a little better. Supposed to see the doc today and they'll try to determine if he'll be able to have his Baptism that's scheduled for Sunday. Thank you again everybody. Will keep you all informed and hopefully have some real good news next time.
