Post by Pitchy »

Took the 1919 Win 94--30-30 out for a shoot using cross sticks.
Range is 75 yards shooting a 8 in. steel gong.
Fun :)

OOOOPS, the load is a 170 JFP bullet over 25 grains of 4198.
Very accurate load in this gun.
The target looks closer than it is as i had the zoom on all the way.

I have a hard time holding steady with them unless i`m leaning against something. Hard to see but my back is up against the fence post.

Put a new layer of water on the rink today before it snows.
Can`t wait on the snow, cook sled, snowshoing, shooting, yeaaaaaa. 8)
Gotta go help WalksWithGun fall a big spruce tree by his house in the morn before the snow gets here then i`d like to do another shoot with the Marlin 1895-45-70.

Thanks 86 `er and OS, the strap works good, just slit the end and slip it over the tips.

Hey!

That one's a shooter.
