Special thanks to Mr Steve Young,
Thank you for the time you spent with me on the phone and for your advice on how to fix my Rossi 92.
Last night I had given up on it and listed it for sale here on the classifieds as a 38 sp. only that won't feed 357 mag. This morning I decided I to keep cutting the cartridge guides even if I had to buy new guides to get it to work again. Well, it worked. I was suprised and happy to finally get it to feed 357's and it still handles the 38's perfectly.
Without Steve Young's coaching I probably would have given up too soon and sold it at a loss and then spent more money replacing it with another one.
I really want a stainless 16" and when I save up the money I will most definitely be buying it form Steve's Gunz. It's not worth the risk of getting a lemon from your local FFL and having to go thru what I just did.
Steve, thanks again for your help. I really appreciate it.

I spoke to Steve just yesterday, about buying one of his CD's and some other '92 related things. He's an upfront kind of guy that I can't say enough good things about. He says he absolutely loves what he does for a living, and will always help where he can.
We'll be remembered for what we've done, not what we have.

Gents,
Mr. Young has spent some time on the phone with me, too. He is a man of many tallents, and a pleasure to do business with. I have not bought anything of great monetary value from him, but he has given me his time, and some good advice. One piece of advice that I will share with you all is a solution to a missing friction stud on one of my levers: Steve suggested that I use some drillbit stock of the correct diameter to make a replacement stud. ...so simple, huh? Just a hacksaw & a file, or a Dremel Moto-tool, plus a vise or pliers, properly applied to the drill rod, and you got yourself a new friction stud!
Steve's video is good, too. I like the clamp-on table vise that he uses to hold the rifles that he works on. I have been on the lookout for one of those vises.
Thank you, Mr. Young!
Shawn

I had lots of problems with a Rossi in .454 Casull that wouldn't feed .45 Colt. Steve worked and worked on it and even he couldn't get it running. We finally did a deal for one of his tuned .45 Colt only rifles at a very good price. He didn't charge me anything for the work he had already done! A gentleman and very responsive. It's now my California-proofed (for now) urban rifle. I would recommend him highly.

I trurely love what I do and really enjoy talking about it as well. you have to really love it because you aren't going to get rich doing it. In my case at least, it is a labor of love.
Thanks guys.
