A friend, Rocky, who lives in Midland, TX is having a go round with throat cancer. He is needing prayers at the moment as he is looking at a lot of whittling to be done and then being given chemotherapy. Radiation is out of the equation as he beat cancer once before and had all the radiation that he could be given. He is also the only one I know who wears a kilt on a regular basis and participates in the Highland Games.
Rocky has gotten a little worse. His spirits are still good, but the cancer is growing and the appointment to cut and then poison is not for a while. He is having to get nutrition from liquids such as ensure. Please keep praying for him.
