32-20. anyone?

Post by rat patrol »

Got a call from dear ol' Mom....clear out the bullets I found in the metal fishing box. I told her I knew Dad hide them and was glad she found them but she still wants them gone. They are old rounds, duh, that are for the family '73 Winchester but she still wants them gone.

Sould I just keep them in the safe, knowing they are BP based rounds or offer them up?

If they are in the original box they have collector value. If they are "black powder" rounds and the box is in decent shape they have a lot of collector value.
I know a whole lot about very little and nothing about a whole lot.

Depending on how old they are the primers may not be any good.
Best bet is take them to a gunshow and see if there's any collector interest. Use that money to get some fresh boxes of ammo.

No not real sure, but I think there should be one coming along here shortly. I thought I heard them advertising one is Cheyenne this week but that's about the only one at the moment.
Will let you know if I here of any close by.

Does the box look like this? This is a full box of Winchester bp. I'd just hold on to 'em.

Thanks guys.

Sixgun, the box is MIA. they are completely loose rounds otherwise I would not consider letting go of them.
