The Ruger rifle is ok. I like the 77 rifles.

Regular Model 88 and 100 4-round magazines run about $50 and I have NEVER seen a 10 round magazine for these rifles.

I like them too. If I didn't have a GAP crusader, I would have gone with one of these

those 10 rd mags were made by Colyer [ maybe in montana?], no longer in business i think. i found a 10 round and an eight round on ebay this year and snagged them .

don't think any one else made them.

here was an eight round someone sold very recently on gunbroker:

Mossberg makes a .223 bolt gun that takes AR mags. You might look into that... but maybe not the caliber you want...

I have one, got it when they first came out. I've put about 200 round's thru it and it is a good shooter. Have 3,5,10 round mags. all have worked fine. The rifle is a little heavy, but balances pretty well. has a leupold 1.75 to 6 on it now. I would like to try a dot type sight. I like the rifle and would recommend one based on my experience so far. Good luck with your choice.

While not 10 rd., I'll go with Granddads '41 M70 in 30Govt/06 with 5rd stripper cutout.
