I'm deliverin' some cardboard in Orlando on Wed. morning. IIRC, there's a truckstop nearby just south of town on Hwy 91. Anyone up for a cup of mud? I'll buy! I'm picking up on Thursday to head to Houston, but don't know the time or exact location yet. So breakfast on Thurs morning might be doable.

HWY 91 is the Florida Turnpike, a toll road. Where would you want to meet?

I knew that. Just couldn't think of the name of US441!

Actually where I'm delivering is just off the turnpike, between it and The Orange Blossom Trail, just south of where the turnpike crosses the OBT. I seem to recall a little truck stop just about a 1 mile south of that. Not a 5 star restaurant... but coffee and soda are "ok". And I should be able to find parking therre when I get empty. (Always a major consideration). PM enroute.

Sorry that Rihmfire and Rusty couldn't make it... but Newtmaker and I had a nice visit... I gotta admit, I got a little jealous, when he talked about his trip to Utah to see the lunar eclipse a while back. THAT's the kind of traveling I'd like to do!

As usual, it was far too short a visit with another great guy, with many stories to share... Thanks for the break of the monotony of my company, Walt. Till the next time, stay well and keep up with the shooting. Next time we gotta talk Guns, or maybe Cameras, another of my favorite things.

Yep, Griff and I had a great visit, but much too short. We talked about Navy days as we were both in that canoe club MANY years ago. :lol: Griff, you really piqued my interest when you mentioned photojournalism. I was a Navy Photomate and Photo Officer so we indeed have a LOT in common. Can't wait til next time!
