Bought me another one
I bought a Marlin camp 45 off of gun broker a couple days ago. Should have it by the end of next week, pics then.
I bought a camp 9 last year and really like it.

Mike;
With the pictures, some details please. My son wants a carbine to go with his 1911 and that may be a good one.

I have one and love it. Pretty accurate (pop cans 50 yards easy). One thing is before you shoot it, disassemble and check the buffer (plastic gob in the rear inside the receiver).
They crack, shatter, and when they aren't functional, I guess the gun is really at risk of damage. Someone posted here a place to get replacements for a few bucks; if they don't chime in, I'll try to find the address and post it. I made one but it would have been worth a few bucks not to have had to.
ALSO - when re-assembling, the ramp for some reason is on a pivot, and it is easy to reassemble it with the ramp tilted so the gun won't feed well. It should be obvious as you reassemble it what I mean, but just check and be sure it looks right. Mine jammed when my son and I were showing it off at a 4-H event, and of course it was just because I asssembled it wrong. Ordinarily it feeds very well.
It has served sometimes as my night-chore gun, with a mini-mag light clamped onto a 14-round magazine. Nailed a couple possums in the chicken coop!

Thanks guys, I have the camp 9 and had ordered 2 new recoil springs for it from Wolf about 2 weeks ago. I also ordered 2 new buffers from Blackjack. They are interchangeable between the camp 9 and 45. I'll probably order another 2 of each tomorrow. Want to have spares for the long term.
May not be a lever but they are a lot of fun to shoot.

couple months ago.
Ive been wanting one ever since I shot my first 1911 on Parris Island. I got
slightly addicted to 45acp's
Mine came with a tasco bantam 1.5-4.5x folding rear leaf and missing
the front sight.
Only needs FOUR things I can think of to be perfect.
1.New front sight
2.Receiver peep
3.Heavier recoil spring
4.Folding stock from Midway (Please don't hurt me)
It will be my version of a EBR.....
A polish M-16 if you will
Congrats MikeS nice around the home duty gun.
Jeeps
