m71 winchester

Post by rando8586 »

Finally, after selling #77xx(1936) standard model to a friend in 2000,tried for years to buy/trade it back,no luck. Traded a recently acquired 1895 405 made 1903, for a mint deluxe m71 #29xx,bolt peep, sling & original box of shells(none missing). Was fired a 2nd box only. Didnt want to shoot the 405 w/cresent butt anyway. Have a Mt moose tag, after 33years of trying, its a good year so far.

Yea, me too. Personally, I would have kept the .405 as there's 10 times more Model 71's than there is .405's.---------Sixgun
