Glad to hear you're hanging in there Pitchy. It's about all you can do at times. Be safe.

Howdy.

Well, I for one knew what you meant when you said sawing logs and dangerous in the same post. Wondered what kind of keystone cops/monty python type of day you had rasslin with timber. I myself have a slightly more than casual relationship with a Homelite or two (and others) every heating season. Work on 'em and with 'em as needed. Equipment alone can certainly make a feller want a stiff shot of whiskey at the end of the day sometimes. Throw in a wife and a contrary tree or two, and well........Heck I've had need of food, coffee, whiskey, and aspirin at the end of a good firewood day. Helped cut, haul, and buck three pickup loads of aspen once and that was the first of the season. Got way too ambitious. Ouch! A 12 pound saw weighs 12 tons if you multiply it by that much wood and being out of shape... probably shouldn't have so many spare saws and or chains ready at once.
Just curious, whats the best whiskey at the end of a good or bad day? I like free best, but cheap isn't too bad.
Just remember GOD loves woodcutters and riflemen just the same at the end of the day as he did at the beginning. You take care. Adobe Walls
