While I will be hunting this fall with a Marlin in 45-70 it will not be as "tricked out" as that one :D :D

Have a JM stamped SBL. Very accurate, slick action and handy size. Like the lever because of my bear paw like hands. Can't beat the Ashley sights.

I have been looking at this rifle for a while...
would be nice to use on some of these hogs down here....
or if they ever open bear season....

I've got the "standard" 1895 GS (unported). I MIGHT want to upgrade to a "midsize" lever for better glove grip, but other than that it's a dandy platform for about anything.
