Successful moose shooting with Henry 22LR
I shot this moose 20 times with my Henry levergun at 50 yards. No tracking at all.

That's cool, I like recyling targets makes it more fun but your post title really got me wondering what your secret was!!!

Some of those shots look like they would been lethal.
Look at the size of those entrance-wounds - they must be six inches in diameter...!

30/30 Winchester: Not accurate enough fer varmints, barely adequate for small deer; BUT In a 10" to 14" barrelled pistol; is good for moose/elk to 200 yards; ground squirrels to 300 metres

At least you dont have to gut, skin and quarter the dang thing.
Re: Successful moose shooting with Henry 22LR
You need to re-think your ammo selection. That moose is still standing!

I like the fact that the Henry is an American made product in the heart of anti gun country, NYC., that I bought 1 for the grandson. Might let him shoot it sometime
Re: Successful moose shooting with Henry 22LR
I bought a used Henry at Cabelas just like the picture above, minus the scope. It shoots great and is more fun to take to the range than any other rifle I have. The Henry IS AMERICAN MADE and a great product. Any other rifle I buy will be a Henry. Would love to get the big boy in 357 mag.
