Did you ever see a nickel '97 pump?
It came to me whether crazy or not, I would love to see a Winchester '97 with nickel plating. Has anybody ever saw one done?

Have seen a fair number of chromed specimens, including some "trench" and "riot" versions..
Years ago, a friend had his 16-ga 97 chromed by a local bumper shop...

MY EYES! MY EYES! Ever since a friend of mine showed to a CAS match with chrome-plated Winch. 94 & SAA in .45 Colt and 12 ga Stoeger coach gun to match sayin', "I got the guns, now I need a 'Porter Wagoner' purple outfit and I'll be the 'Cowboy Pimp'", I haven't been able to get thaat image from poppin' into my head every time I see a nickel, chrome or polishesd stainless gun!

Very nice Guys!! Cool as usual for you Pitchy I have a 1918 '97 needing fixed back, its just a pile of gun bones at the moment but life can come back to it. If it was shiny, now that would be cool. I think I might have been a crow in a past life the way I like shiny things! .DT

Nice Pitchy, real nice!!
It might be more to ask of the '97, but my other desire after a nickel coating would be light walnut stocks with checkering, very similar to the Stoeger Coach gun done in nickel, yep I'm talking about losing the ringed fore end.
Click on the standard silverado model and thats what I see the '97 being....
