Can anyone tell me how many Browning model 71's were made?

If there are a lot fewer carbines then I would think they would go for a premium--plus--it's handier and lighter to carry. Love mine.

Re: Browning model 71--number made?
Most sources say the Browning M71s were under 3300 for each of the 20" versions - standard or High-Grade; and under 3000 each for the 24" versions.
That's for the 1986-87 production lots. That means well under 13,000 total for those guns.
Considerably more "rare" than the Winchester originals by production numbers....
But then, at under 900 guns made, my Cimmaron Hi-Wall Octagon is my "rarest" 348W rifle!

I'm positive God created the universe... I'm just not convinced He had any choice in the matter.
