What's the quality of the picture? Some places sell all 20 seasons of Gunsmoke, but it looks like they just recorded a TV screen?

If you plan on getting all 8 seasons this would save you a few bucks:

Great series. Local Retro channel ran Rawhide for quite some time I miss it. It was very interesting to watch the maturation of Rowdy from greenhorn and a bit of an irresponsible knee-kerk hothead--but still affable (so you didn't entirely abandon him--sort of like a difficult kid you still see promise in)...to a more responsible and likeable sort but with some grit 'n gumption. Someone the crew found worth looking up and adversaries respecting. It was interesting how his physical stature and attire changed subtley with his growing up. From skinny- almost adolescent with lowslung drop loop gun rig to looking more like a regular grown up and with his more practical (and to become) uniquitous higher ride loop over Spaghetti rig he adopted half-way through the series. Kid to man just within a few years run. Lots of good characters in that series and the b&w is great to see these days (though I just kill the color on some later TV westerns--helps!). Wagon Train was another good one of that old school TV western format.

I started buying Have Gun Will Travel from Colombia House on a subscription basis years ago when they were on VHS but I only got three before we ran into problems. I guess I migh have to go check that out.

Thanks for the heads up!
