Pictures of deer stands. Got any?
I love building them. It's like being a kid and building forts. I will be building a real good one someday. I know some of you have gone over the top.

Just a climber in my shed. If you don't have land of your own, building is "illegal" and leaving any stand out on public ground is a good way to get it stolen/destroyed.

Yeah, I guess there's not of land owners here. I've been on the same place for my 62 years.

Shouldn't your deer stands be made of twigs & sinew?

The first several years I deer hunted, I did it sitting in the 'range-house', since the range ground cover was mostly timothy and alfalfa...

Lets see I have two Trophy Whitetail climbers (wish I had bought a couple more before Treelounge went outta buisness) . Have a Treelounge I bought used last year for a song .
Have a Trophy Whitetail Loc-On , another Loc-On I forgot the name of that has a 360 degree turning seat and finally a Remington ladder stand .
Usually one of the Trophy Whitetail climbers stays strapped on my Kawasaki Brute Force in case I go to someone else's place rather then hunt behinf the house on my property .
Have a Trophy Whitetail Loc-On , another Loc-On I forgot the name of that has a 360 degree turning seat and finally a Remington ladder stand .

The first treestand I ever owned was a Treelounge with the bow hunting adaptor I purchased new in 1993 . The following year I discovered "Brent Hunt's Trophy Whitetail Treestands" in South Carolina somewhere . Bought one of those and the Treelounge stayed in the utility room until I sold it . The Treelounge while comfy is not the easiest to climb with and certainly no where near the lightest to carry .
That first Trophy Whitetail I bought in 1994 is still in use and I've replaced the seat in it 3 or 4 times already , well the plywood under the foam inside the camo cover atleast . On the Trophy Whitetail Loc-On I think I've replaced the wood in that once once .
I picked up the Treelounge I got this past season for the gosh awful price of $100 and I dare say it hadn't been used but maybe one season !
I take that bad boy and hang it somewhere on our property and leave it there the entire season !

That first TreeLounge I had with the bow adapter on the front was easy to turn around in .
And if you kept the foot part of the climber tight on the tree it was like shooting from a bench when you turned around straddled the seat while facing the tree with your feet in the bottom of the climber . I killed several deer in that fashion when I used that stand alot .

Wow I thought the rednecks from Duck Dynasty were pulling my leg when they put up a mobile home duck blind!
I've had it all wrong all these years. I walked around on the ground.
