I honestly can't see any imaginable load that would cause POI and POA to be the same. Oh well. New, taller front sight, here I come.

Re: Rossi levergun sights
If this a new round barrel carbine the problem is not the front. You need a lower rear. Rossi is now using a really tall semibuckhorn rear that won't go low enough to move POI down to POA.

New, octagon 24 inch rifle.
Is there an option for a slightly taller front sight? I will be replacing the rear with a folding sight to make room for my tang peep.

If you go with a tang sight, you probably won't need to change the front sight. I've put Marbles tang sights on several rifles, and didn't have to change the front sight on any of 'em.vanilla_gorilla wrote:New, octagon 24 inch rifle.

Receiver peep sights. otoh, always seem to require taller front sights.
