The last three movies I've watched, selected at random from my collection, had the same obscure French actor in them.
I try not to let that happen, and it's hard sometimes, with actors like Gene Hackman and Morgan Freeman in so many pictures, they often pop up twice in a row. But never three times.
Just in case you're interested in a puzzle, here are the three movies:
Munich
The Holcroft Covenant
Day of the Jackal
So, what's the actor's name?
For a tie-breaker, what was his first line in "Day of the Jackal?"

Movie Trivia Question

Re: Movie Trivia Question
I really don't know but I'll add this. If you liked the Day of the Jackal you should read the book, it's 10X better than the movie IMHO.

That type of coincidence happens way more often than you would expect.
All it proves is that we watch to much TV/cinema
I used to bug my wife by always telling her what other movies actors had been in when we were watching visual media.
Now that I have a smartphone and Kindle fire, I drive her absolutely nuts.

Re: Movie Trivia Question
With 220 roles, I don't know that I'd say "obscure"! And roles from 1973, 1985 and 2005 wouldn't count as "...in a row" either. But, you probably meant the order in which you saw them... no?Topside wrote:Michael Lonsdale methinks.

And in Day of the Jackal, you can hear him narrate in the beginning, just after the assassination attempt - "The time elapsed from the first to the last shot was 7 seconds..."
