Of course you're right, Pitchy. The Lord did send a helper, but one has to follow Him to receive that help. My dad is a minister, and I grew up seeing "behind the scenes" in quite a few churches. You can tell the ones that are really led by the Holy Spirit, and you can usually tell the ones that aren't. I have come to believe that there are too many "pretenders" around, and when you have a bunch of those leading people, then it really is people taking over. Even if you have the Holy Spirit you gotta listen to it to be able to follow.

Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of good, honest people that just want to do the Lord's work the best they know how. There will be disagreements, but if you look at the differences in many of the denominations you will find that their differences are very minor, and many just have to do with the church government structure.

Oh i agree, it`s man that screws it up every time, God knew that and why He gave the world the ten Commandments. He knew if left to man the world would get wicked, well guess what happened.
All we can do is spread the word and hope some listen, there is a time coming, the Tribulation period where people will have to make a choice. And some will cuss Gods name all the way to Hadies.
