If you guys have some time, a quick prayer for me please. Having back surgery tomorrow to remove a slice of disk pressing on the nerve that feeds my left leg. Suppose to be a quick in and out type thing and they say 4-6 weeks recovery. I plan on going back to work on Monday. anyway, if you got time, just a quick prayer will do. thanks.
blessings
My dear friends, Thank you for the prayers. Operation went well to remove the p;ieces of disc that were impinging on the nerve to my left leg. They opened the passage for the nerve. Dr. stated that the pain should subside as soon as the swelling and inflamation go down in a day or two. Your selfless sharing of time and prayers were a critical factor in the success of the operation. I am at home resting and getting around pretty well. Not ready to run off to the range (though that would help the recovery) but I am doing fine. Thanks again

If it's any consolation, my friend had similar surgery to his neck a few months ago, was in and out in a few hours, is now pain free and well healed.
Prayers said.

Prayer sent.
My dad had the same surgery 10 years ago and said the recovery wasn't nearly as bad as living with the pain for 15 years beforehand.
Cheers for getting the gumption to go through ith it, and rest up well.

Just remember Mike, minor surgery is when they do it to you. Major surgery is when they do the same thing to me.
Truth is there's no such thing as minor when t hey put you to sleep. You're in our prayers here.

Mike that's great! Glad you're up and around. I was actually wondering how long we'd have to wait to find out how you did. I'm amazed.

Glad to hear all went well. Take care ,rest, and do as your Doc says. Back too soon can mean a longer time off. Best of luck!
