You might try downloading "avast" free virus sheild - I use it and it works very well. http://www.avast.com I think. Otherwise google if you can get past the armagendon site

Would the Go Back feature on the newer ones be useful in this situation? I never had to Go Back on my last PC..the AVG I used kept it perfectly usable, if not perfectly uninfected.

Yes Me to, and I'm not going to Damascus ,any time soon. Its odd how this happened ,if I was looking for this Damascus prophecy, it wold have taken 6 clicks to get to it, after I found the site? Note: I have Norton internet security.
