Win 94 forend on a Rossi 92?

Post by mike@nds »

Has anyone tried this? I have the skills and the tools for the job, and some fitting is to be expected.

However, if there someone that knows of a reason that this is truly impossible I'd like to hear it before I embark on this quest.

The reason is I ordered an NRA Centennial Musket forearm with the intention of mounting it on a beater 94 in 30-30, but the idea of a full-stocked 357 carbine is almost too much to resist.

I'd like to do something like this:

Yes & no - what you ordered has wood & metal parts that were made to fit the contours of the 26" NRA Musket bbl at certain points, which most likely won't be the same as the Rossi's.
