1894cb 32mag loads anyone?

Post by Thunder50 »

Looks like I will be getting a 32mag later this week or early next week. Fellow posted one F/S on another site I visit regularly, so I called on it and its making its way slowly to me :D

Had been thinking of getting one of the Winchester 92's in 32-20 from CDNN, but I think I will like this one just as well. Passed up on one about 5 years ago and regretted it since.

Yeah, yeah, I know, PICS

Y'all gotta wait until it gets here!!!

Any good recipies for loading this thing? I will only shoot cast in it.

thanks

Bludot makes the little 32 sit up and pay attention in the baby vaquero Rugers, I'ld expect it would work right well in the rifle.
The rcbs 98swc bullet is the one we shoot the most in the handgun. The blocks I have actually drop that bullet at 100 grs from wheelweights.

Don't ignore the 115-120 grain cast bullets, particularly in a rifle. I shoot them almost exclusively in my Ruger Bisley Single Six and my Browning Lo-wall (before anyone gets excited, it's a .22 Hornet on which I had Dan Pedersen set the barrel back one thread and rebore). They also work well in my SP101, although I tend to shoot the 85 grain JHPs out of that since I use it as a woods carry gun.

I wish they'd make those again; odd without the receiver loading gate, but still a handy little gun!
