I'm a member of a sewing forum:
http://sewingforum.com/forum/index.php? ... e52675f174 that was hit by spammers. So far the administrator has done nothing.
If it weren't for the diligent work of Hobie and Ambracol that is what this forum could look like. Go take a look, I'm not kidding.
The Sewing forum is a disaster now. No room for legitimate posters.

Hobie, I thank you for your work.

I believe they are talking about the FORUM's account, NOT an individual account. IOW, spammers killed the forum.

That is exactly it. And it only took them 4 days to do it.

I don't need to look anywhere else to see what spammers can and do do. I remember what it was like on this forum before it was fixed ("Thx Hobie").anybody bought any gold lately ? exactly.
