New toy. Radom PPs 43, 7.62 x 25

Post by 2ndovc »

Went to a local show this morning and picked up a new shooter.

Good friend of mine called me a couple weeks ago and told me I
HAD to go get one! What a good friend. :D

Anyway,
I knew the guy that would have a few and shot straight to his table. Sure enough and a
new shipment with lower price to boot!
Four mags and a cleaning kit.

And I just happen to have a case of 7.62x25 just lying around. :D

Image
The folding stock has been tack welded in place so it can be sold as a pistol.

Range report to come soon! :D

Those in full auto are alot of fun and hit harder than you would think. You should have a blast with it.

well Doc there is this "pull thing" but you only have to do it once!

Paladin,
I bet they're fun in full auto! I shot a full auto UZI once. Not like it is in the movies! :D

Just got it all cleaned up. It didn't come with any manual of any kind. took me a few minutes to
figure out how to take it apart. very simple. Lots of cosmline!

Can't wait to shoot it. :D

My son has one with a broken trigger. He made a short video on you tube explaining the problem and has received several comments from others with the same problem. Basically it's now a wall hanger. I almost bought one but decided not.
I hope you have better luck with yours.

Here is his video.

It's begging to be SBR'd!!! If you live in a state that allows it, it would be more realistic. Then it would be lawful to break the weld that keeps the under folder from doing what it's supposed to do.

Been thinking about that. I'm going to look into the rules/ fees to do that if it turns out to me a good shooter.

Cool. I've considered getting a Sterling but the mags are really hard to find. The Sterlings (which have folding stocks - that work...) are very reasonably priced themselves - can get em in 7.62x25 or 9mm.

The Tax Stamp is $200. Now find out your state laws regarding Class 3. If it's OK to have one you'll need a sherriff's or chief of police's signature. If they are reluctant to sign, the trust fund route is the way to acquire the piece. It does not require a signature from the CLEO but will still cost $200.
