Then pray the old Manchurian has a stroke.
It's about the only way, short of a Ron Paul Presidency, that this country has 1/2 a chance of surviving the next 2 years after elections before we can throw out half the congress & senate...

+1 I have been glad to see him take so many states lately cause the thought of her getting in terrifies me.BlaineG wrote:I think (but pray I'm wrong) that a Dem'rat will be in the White House next. At least if Obama gets in, the commie Race Baiters like Jackson will not have a leg to stand on anymore.
On your say so, so did I. I won't help split the vote in the 'Rat's favor come November, though.FWiedner wrote:I've already voted for Paul in the Primary.
I'll write him in in the General.
I'll write in Paul or if Hillary gets the not I'll vote for her - to protect what little freedom we have left. Sorry to differ with the 'less of two evils' crowd, but I still don't trust McCain, and the Republicans will NOT oppose the socialist big government stuff he will push for, whereas if Hillary is elected, at least the Republicans will try to stall her plans somewhat.FWiedner wrote:I've already voted for Paul in the Primary.

I agree with what Pastor Chuck Baldwin has to say...bunklocoempire wrote:I'm over my fear of the democrats and will vote for Ron Paul and write him in if I have to. I dunno bout that. I have no trouble visualising McCain pushing liberal judges. He pushes a liberal agenda. Maybe a bus will fall on all three of them.cpt Dan Blodgett wrote:We stand to get a whole lot more gun friendly supreme court judges with McCain than we could with either Obama Yo Mama or Hillary.
That's funny, Joe.J Miller wrote:It is my opinion, for what it's worth, that if Hillary gets elected, she will be president in name only.
She will actually be the front woman for Bill Clinton. And he'll finish the job he started and destroy this country.

Already been done. When it looked like Ron Paul was going to win Louisiana (which must have thrown the powers that be into a panic, making it near impossible to maintain the media blackout), all the other candidates threw together in one uncommitted slate with the Gipper at the head to defeat Paul:Do we have time to pass a petition to get Reagan on the ballot again?? A dead man cannot do worse than the lot we've got now.
Agree. The Republic is dead.I've found it a lot easier to relax after I realized it doesn't make a darn bit of difference who wins this election. We're equally screwed no matter who it is, no matter who the veep is....
This country's been done for, this is just death throes, and all my achin' ain't going to change a thing.
Y'all on both sides that get worked up over it, you're not paying enough attention. There is no difference.
We do this NOW. The RINOS don't give a rip if they lose to democrats, they ALL have their bases covered, same as big business donating to both parties. It ain't repubs vs. dems, it's us vs. government, always has been. After this election I think we all need to organize and send them a message, not one more nickle or one more vote until they clean house and get back to core principals.
You said it well - THIS is what happened to the Republican Party. They allege to stand for the Constitution and limited government, then call the candidate who best represents these ideals a 'nut'.FWiedner wrote: Ron Paul is an honest man of unquestionable integrity....and he is called a "nut".
John McCain has a history that extends out over 30 plus years of being involved in graft and bribery....and this is the man that you believe would be better than a Democrat?
Idahoser, that was my sig line for a while, use it all you want.If voting could really change anything, it would be illegal.
As will Obama and Clinton, they are the two sides to the same coin.John McCain is a loose cannon. He will ultimately betray and harm those who vote for him.

I'm irreparably disgusted with the whole two-party system. I voiced my opinion on an earlier thread that HAVING ONLY 2 OPTIONS IS NOT "LIBERTY"!! When need more options! Especially since at any given time the republicans can void out the primaries by convincing Romney to "suspend" his campaign thus not having to share the delegates he has won with the other contenders. In other words, regardless of who you vote for in the primaries, the republicans can manipulate the system so that your vote doesn't count. CROOKED POLITICS...pure and simple! And until we change the system, we WILL NOT TRULY HAVE THE FREEDOM to vote for the best candidate.Marlin .35 wrote:I don't think Obama can screw me any worse than the Republicans have.
Of course. But I'm not concerned with how our system compares to others. That just sets us up for mediocrity. I'm concerned with how our system compares with "what it could be with just a little common sense".Swampman wrote:"I'm irreparably disgusted with the whole two-party system."
It's better than the one party systems most countries have.
We may have had control but only by one vote in the senatetman wrote:why fear obama or clinton. the repubs had ten years of full control and look how it ended up. the middle class got TOTALLY SCREWED , while the energy and military corporations sucked the country dry. not to mention the mortage industry, can things get any worse than they are now. the dems want to take the 2nd ammendment, the repubs have went after the 1rst and 3rd. illegal immigrant flood the country, driving the wages down. corporations are rewarded thru OUR TAX DOLLARS to relocate over seas. i don't buy into the notion that one party is good and the other is evil. their both evil.
