Another newbie

Post by jens5 »

Forum newbie.
I'm an older, experienced shooter and collector who's a little new to lever guns. Had a couple in the past but bitten by the 45/70 bug.
Currently, the only lever rifle I own is a 1991 Marlin 1895 SS 45/70.
Lusting for a Turnbull 1886 but am looking to settle for a Browning and Maybe a Winchester
Like the site. Thanks for letting me participate.

Welcome. Have a 86 Browning saddle ring carbine. While a Turnbull might be really pretty and EXPENSIVE  , The browning, at least mine is as close to a custom piece, fit , function, and apperance, for a lot less money, for a factory piece. Just my humble opinion.

This is by far the best forum on the net. Make yourself at home and don't be shy. Welcome to the forum!
