Need prayers for a friend. - short time update

My wife's friend has been fighting cancer for some time now. There's too much to describe, but last month before Thanksgiving she went in for more surgery and treatment for a chronic infection. She's become almost immune to the antibiotics they've used on her.

My wife is picking her up at the hospital tonight and taking her home. They've got her hooked up to some kind of machine that injects the anti bios into her system on a timed basis so she'll need a lot of help.

Her name is Cindy and she needs all the prayer help she can get. She's fighting tooth and nail for her life, but she needs God's help.

Cindy came home last Friday late in the evening. She was tired but in a better frame of mind than the previous home coming after surgery. She was also feeling much better, though still quite ill.

The next morning she was able to get up on her own and let her dog Daisy out to run and do her thing. Prior to this hospital stay she was so sick she could hardly get out of bed.
The fellow who was helping my wife take care of Daisy and Cindy's house was at work at a neighborhood market across the street and saw the dog out running around. Not knowing Cindy was home he thought the house had been broken into. He got another guy and went across the street to check things out. He and my wife both have keys to the house so he let himself in the front. As he was looking around he ran into Cindy who was in the bathroom. As embarrassing as that was she thought it was funny and had to call my wife and tell her about it. She was laughing as she told the story. Her emotions are up some and she can laugh. That is an improvement of major value.

My wife says her color is better and her attitude is gradually improving. She even ordered a pizza Saturday evening.

Thanks for the prayers, they do help. Please keep them coming.
