UPDATE---------- Need some prayers in a hurry
Would appreciate some prayers for my brother-in-law. I don't have time for details, but he is in the ICU on life support. Not a good place for a 40 year old guy.
Update:
Returned home from the hospital. Unfortunately there has been little change in Jeff's condition. He has severe pancreatitis which caused his kidneys to completely shut down. Then his lungs became filled with fluid to the point where he was no longer able to breath on his own, so they put him on a respirator. The doctors first gave him a 50/50 shot at making it 24 hours, which he has now done. They continue to fill him with fluids with the hope of shocking his kidneys back to work. They are holding off on dialysis because they fear his other organs would not be able to take it. His entire body is so completely swelled up he is hardly recognizable. He still is not conscience, which is probably a good thing.
Brothers, thank you all for your prayers, but he could certainly use any more you can muster up. He is no where near out of the woods yet.
