My wife wants to shoot a deer!

Post by shooter »

I about fell out of my chair when she asked if she could go shoot a deer with me this weekend. Of course it's probably cuz we get to stay in a million dollar house on 3200 acres, but heck, whatever gets her interested in hunting is fine with me. She was never interested till I showed her pics of the house and all the toys from the last time I went, lol. Anyway, wish her luck, and I'll post pics of whatever we end up getting!

Taking her to the range tomorrow to freshen up before the weekend. I thought at first she just wanted to go hang out, but she sure enough wants to take one. I hope this gets her interested. It will either do that, or make her never want to go again.

It sounds like the evening drinkin, jawin, and lyin will have to be toned down a bit with the wife there, won't it.

Great! You'll get the opportunity to teach her the ceremony you do when taking an animal's life and show her what a connected to the earth kind of guy you are. Any time I can show Nancy I'm not a knuckle dragger I relish it.
Kind regards,
Tycer

That sounds real nice. I would run out and buy her deluxe lightweight rifle in 7-08 and put a nice Leupold on it. She deserves it. :D
