1894 Ducks Unlimited Commemorative

Just picked up Silver Issue of Winchester Ducks Unlimited Commemorative @ a good price. Is there a reason not to turn it into a shooter ? Rifle has never been fired & is pristine, excellent wood, not a scratch. Does anyone know the approximate value of such a piece ? Bought from private collection. Believe it was manufactured in 1986.
