Budweiser is a huge supporter of the shooting sports..........and it don't taste like those sissy beers from Europe or Mexico!

But if someone has a Bud for me(I'll drink it)

Like the 80 year old lady told me down the road(the expensive beers (Blah !)
I pour my own/want a good head on it/and like it ice cold!

I'm not real picky, but lately, an IPA is really tasting good (but, I probably don't have more than a half dozen drinks a month, if that many)
I haven't seen it for years, but Blatz Cream Ale was good stuff for little money.

And here I thought I was tough because I actually like San Miguel! But, in truth... there ain't an American beer worthy of the name. Especially that over-commercialized swill they call Bud! I wonder if their support of the "Press Room" actually translates into shooting sports support? Now, once upon a time, Coors actually hosted the Schuetzen Championships... in fact, if I recall Herr Coors himself, used to compete also. THAT, I call support.

Coors still sponsors the Schutzen Fest (sp?) but due to politically correct pressure, they moved it out of yuppy Colorado to a man's state............

Honestly, I think Genny taste good.(it's not the cost deal)
You know another beer Genny makes that is good.
Dundee Brand(the IPA and the Bock)are exceptional
If any of you guys can get your hands on the Ithaca brewery brand (Cold Front) Wow

I get that directly while at their brewery in their special quart jars!

Used to drink Black Label!

But honestl You go to the Raleigh area of NC,what do all the college kids think is hot???????????

I like buds in 10 oz cans. Been drinking coors light lately though. We have a general rule here , if you don't mind a raging hangover and want to get "tore up" drink budweiser. If you want to drink without too bad of hangover, drink coors light.

My distributor told me that the type formulated hops in Bud will cause a headache for those that don't normally drink it.
He said if you switch and drink it as your regular beer your body adjusts to it and after couple weeks(no more headache)

Will say out of a keg normal Bud on Draft(good to go and it doesn't give me a headache like doing the pounders)??

I been drinking "Smithwicks" Irish Ale the last couple years. Guiness makes it. My wife likes Guiness Stout & I bought this because they had none one day. She hates it but I like it. Sam Adams makes an Irish Red thats good too. I drank more Budweiser by the time I was 30 than most sane people drink in a lifetime I think. But these days it dont trip my trigger too much, none of the big mass produced beers do. I imagine the kids still suck them down by the caseload but I like something with a little body & texture. A 12 pack lasts me about 2 weeks though. I think I'll go down to the gun room, crack one now & look for a western on TV.

Have you been drinking? The krap called Budweiser is some of the nastiest stuff ever to be canned. Sorry mate, but the Euros have it all over the US when it comes to beer, except for the zillions of our microbrews, of course. But our mass-produced stuff is horse urine.

Whether or not they support the shooting sports is irrelevant. I buy beer that I like to drink.

I've tried it all --- i've drank it all (and in mass quantities) --- i've settled on iced cold, watered down and domestic

I like to drink typicly bock style beers. Sam adams is a good choice. As for bud, I can only drink that pee water when I go on a factory tour. Its not to bad straight from the tap but in the stores its stuff.

Sam Adams is good beer, but come on, Boston Lager?

Lager arrived with the Germans in the 1840s (who became the American brewing dynasties). Americans weren't drinking beer then, they rejected all things old world in the war of 1812, especially British brews, and were drinking American whiskey (sour mash and sweet mash - bourbon).

Before that, our founding fathers drank Taddy porter. In England it was the poor man's brew because the ingredients of ales bore higher taxes. So our founding fathers brewed and drank porter because it was the democratic thing to do. (of course if you've priced Samuel Smith's Taddy porter lately, there's nothing poor man about it.)

I have NEVER liked Budweiser !

I do however like AB's "Amber Bach" .

But generally for me it's Bass Ale , Guniness Stout , Murphys Stout or Negra Modela . Also a kind beer/ale/stout in the Philippines called "Negra Cerveza or Cerveza Negra never can remmember which way the have it !

Incidently I bought a 12 pack of Bass back about Thanksgiving and notied they're now brewing the stuff in the USA . Thats actually kind of a let down

I bought some Black and Tan in Napoleon OH a couple weekends ago. Good stuff. Can't get it around here, but Moose Drool is pretty close.

I also like Blue Moon, Shiner Black, Sam Adams Black or Imperial Wheat. I found a Flying Saucer pub in Ft. Worth a while back and almost foundered

I lost count at 88 types of beer on tap. Luckily I was within walking distance to the hotel

Beer doesn't agree with me anymore but once a week I still check to make sure, usually with a can of Fosters - "Austrailian for Beeah".

By the way if you want a fantastic microbrew experience go to Kenosha, Wisconsin and search out the bar that brews its own.

I love darker beers. I like several of the Shiner variety. Ziegenbock is a good beer, as are several of the European imports and a lot tof the microbrews out there. The Flying Saucer has several pubs around the D/FW area as someone mentioned earlier. They have a huge selection of beer. Ales, porters, mead, marzen style, etc. I love to go there and try a couple new ones now and then.

My easy drinking summer beer is hands down Corona. I could drink it all day, (and do on occasion

). I'm not a big drinker anymore, and seldom drink to excess, but man do I love a cold Corona in the summer.

I like their support of the shooting sports, but I drink Tullamore Dew or Bushmill's when I drink. Tullamore Dew is what makes two Irishmen the best of friends and 3 Irishmen want to kill each other. I have never tasted a beer that I like.
