Why would you visit the tomb of the Unknowns and act the fool while there? If they want to behave like that, they should go to MacDonald's instead of Arlington.

I noticed he stepped off of the runner, and while forceful, was polite and respectful. I'm wondering if there's a reason for leaving the runner. And, of course, having two of my own, Marines have a way of being "forceful", and they are also taught to be "respectful". A couple of things one heck of a lot of today's youngsters could do to learn.

Not Marines...Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 1st Battalion, 3d U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard) With Marines, although they would do a heck of a job, you'd have to retrain them after every three day weekend. :P

I agree - how could you possibly visit such sacred ground and act like a fool.

Wish they'd have live rounds in their weapons. And a license to enforce the respect due!!!

There's a reason the USMC uses a fouled anchor as its icon.
