Not a lever, but went hunting anyway.
Took my Great Grandfathers old 16gauge H&R topper chasing some rabbits today. It's a 1941 model, not sure when he bought it, but I inherited it in 1987 when I was 16. He died the month before I was born in 1971, so I never knew him, but I'd like to think He's looking down and smiling, seeing his old gun still put to good use.

Given your forum name, I thought maybe you were using .410 shells in a .444 Marlin.

I'm sure your Great Grandfather would be smiling to know his old shotgun is still being put to good use, looks good too
I have just bought a single shot 12GA and have two single shot .410s, hope to make my next one a 16GA.
