Question on the New Winchester 1886

Post by Coloradoyaler »

Hello

Any reports on how well these shoot? Will they shoot as good as a Marlin 1895?

Thanks
Mark

:D Every 86 owner that I know likes theirs and says they shoot well, including mine.
Vis a Vis the Marlin, could not say. You best try them both and make up your own mind.

I've had both, but kept the Winchester take-down in 45-70, Both are capable of outstanding accuracy.....it's really a matter of which handles the best to the individual, as the '86 is quite a bit beefier than the Marlin. Kinda like the difference in a Honda and Toyota, both are capable of the same thing so which suits your taste best???

I have both and both shoot really well. Which one do you like? Did I hear you say both? Great decision. 1886.

Mine is the Miroku made Hi-Grade Extra Light w/ 22" barrel. It does everything I want it to and looks nice too.

Me too, except it's not the high grade. I love it.
