Hello
Any reports on how well these shoot? Will they shoot as good as a Marlin 1895?
Thanks
Mark

Vis a Vis the Marlin, could not say. You best try them both and make up your own mind.

I've had both, but kept the Winchester take-down in 45-70, Both are capable of outstanding accuracy.....it's really a matter of which handles the best to the individual, as the '86 is quite a bit beefier than the Marlin. Kinda like the difference in a Honda and Toyota, both are capable of the same thing so which suits your taste best???

Me too, except it's not the high grade. I love it.86er wrote:Mine is the Miroku made Hi-Grade Extra Light w/ 22" barrel. It does everything I want it to and looks nice too.
