My dad told me about the 300 when I was really young.
I was greatly heartened by it when I learned it had become a movie.
I told my first love about it ( by email ) and she went to see it.
She reported back ( email ) that when she went to see it in Belfair, WA.
The line consisted of mostly men, with their young sons.
Perhaps there is hope for us yet?

I believe that "turn the other cheek" applies to personal insults, being taken advantage of, etc. For situations where innocent lives are in peril, I believe the Christian response, in our day, should be "Load the other magazine.".

Gotta keep gettin' more ready, and spreading the word. I tell my wife and kids to never give in, resist in any way possible. I tell myself that too. That is why I tell myself that I have a RESPONSIBILITY to carry at all times that it is possible.

sad but true, we must live on yellow alert, at best.

When the story of the Texas man who shot the two burglars made the news, a local liberal radio host and his crew posed the question, "Is my stuff worth a human life?" My reaction was " Is my stuff worth your life?"
