We had a great 2011 hunting season!

Post by Coloradoyaler »

We had a great 2011 hunting season! We both harvested Alaskan moose on our DIY hunt. Hers measured 52" and mine measured 50". She shot hers with her 300wsm and I took mine with my 50 Alaskan. I also harvested a nice nine point PA whitetail and a nice european boar with my 50 alaskan. She scored on this Colorado elk that gross scored 320B&C. We have been blessed!

Well done, Sir!

A good season.

The moose was shot at 150yds,the boar at about 25yds, and the deer at 50yds.

We donated the moose meat as the people in the small town of Bethel really need it for there winter. My little family have not eaten much store bought meat in the last four years!

awesome. well done to you both. very nice donating the meat. I find Moose to be my favorite. I think I would have kept some tenderloins.
