That will be a nice little gun!
The stock also looks pretty darn good and at only $129 with what that gun offers?
Just something about that simple easy handling of a nice single while walking through the woods!
Their just cool. I like the fact even with a 28" barrel the guns total length is only that of a 22" barreled pump gun
And with the wide choice of ammo, that gun packs plenty!
That gun is a bargain.---Good job!
What a deal, Swampy. Looking good. Great pic. Congrats!

Heck, these days the walnut's probably worth $129! Great deal.
The stock seems as though it fits more like the old H&Rs used to. The contrast between the blued barrel and the plated (nickel?) receiver looks good too; but the vent rib really sets it off. I would like to have that one myself.
Thats nice, I just passed on a older 410 with the black stocks and silver finnish for $75. It was really heavy but am hoping its there when i get backto the Gander Mtn in Wasau. Dont know why, but the vent rib always looks "right" on the H&R's
30/30 Winchester: Not accurate enough fer varmints, barely adequate for small deer; BUT In a 10" to 14" barrelled pistol; is good for moose/elk to 200 yards; ground squirrels to 300 metres
250 Savage... its what the 223 wishes it could be...!
Spoke with H&R and they said they can put a .357 or .44 Magnum barrel on it if I send it in.
