I am so very sorry for your loss. I still miss my dad and he passed in 1999. He still missed his dad and he had passed in 1974. Good people are always missed.
Sincerely,

Oly, condolences. Let you heart go through the hurt - it is part of the appreciation. I thought the feelings passed but mine was 40 years ago and they still came back very strong on Sept 9th. It is a sign of his value. He looks like a fine man, a great guy and who we should have for president now by the look on his face and in his eye. We all look forward to being reunited.

My heartfelt condolences Oly. I will be praying for both of you as you mourn the loss of your father.

Oly, I'm so sorry. My thoughts and prayers are with him, you and your family. Plus one to what many have so eloquently said. He looked like a fine man and I'm sure there is cause for much pride all the way around.
Prayers for healing for you and yours sent. Was his name written in the LAMB's Book of life? If it was, then you will see him again. Take comfort in the memories you have, and don't forget that noone who was loved and is remembered is truly gone.

Yes, absolutely.
Thank you all very much for your kind words. It's been a rough day but it's getting better and so many kind wishes is a blessing that I cannot ever hope to repay, but you have my sincere thanks.
Best,
Oly

Oly, Sorry to hear about your Dad. Like many others here, my Dad also died of cancer in 2003 just 2 days after his 75th birthday. I don't believe that one day has passed since that I don't think of him.
Just be thankful that you had him as long as you did and honor him by being the best parent you can be to your children.
Hang in there Oly, time heals but not completely. My Dad died in 1966 and there r still times that I think of Him-especilly Now. U r in My thoughts and Prayers.

I lost my Dad in 2002 and 3 months after he passed it really hit me,,,, I cried every morning for a week driving to work, what a sight I was.. a 6' 230lb. 53 year old man crying in a pick-up truck.
If you feel like crying let it out, whatever you do don't try to hold it in.
