Fall Colors on the farm

Post by getitdone1 »

Here's a picture I took today. We are at about the peak now for fall colors.

Anyone else like to share your Fall Colors?

a couple of weeks ago I had to make a couple of trips to Missoula, MT and back. The colors were really getting with it. Didn't have time for a pic. It was for work and we were in a hurry.

I missed them this year up on the mountain, the colors were great down lower, they are mostly gold.

A spot where the aspens go orange and red along with their usual gold,

Scene at this year's elk hunt area. Most years this is a very nice contrast with bright yellow against the grey-green junipers on the hillside. This year we went from green leaves to brown leaves and skipped the yellow. It was a beautiful day anyway and I had a fine hunt. Saw a jillion robbins and some magpies but no elk.
