Howdy Feller's! Been lurking out here for a couple of years. Decided to come out of the dark now that I FINALLY drew a 'full house' in my levergun collection.
It has taken years but I finally got a full run....22, .45lc, 30/30, and this weekend the big one....45/70. Been carrying that cash around for a year, just waiting for the right opportunity to come along and BAM! In the door walks "Betsy"! Poor guy needed cash and I had it.
Anyway, nice to be here. Thanks for lettin' me aboard.
Now listen boy, I'm tryin' to teach you somethin'. That ain't an optical illusion, it only LOOKS LIKE an optical illusion.
My mind reader refuses to charge me . . . .
They ain't ready yet. The 30/30 is an early 336, needs a scope. The 45lc is a Winchester pre-safety trapper, needs nothing more than a glass showcase. The .22 is an early Erma/IJ . The 45/70 is an 1895 cowboy. (Perfect since that is my profession) IT wants a tang sight. Any rec.'s?
When they ALL are ready and gussied up, then ya'll maaaaaaaaaaaay git a peek.....

Posting pictures sounds hard but it aint! Once they are on Photo Bucket or other hosting site, most of the work is done.
If I can help PM me and I will be glad to help.
Welcome aboard! No one is going to let up on the requests for pictures. As you know from your lurking days, we are all quite addicted to leverporn here!!!
I think for the most part you are going to have to DT for most tang sights. Which gun is this going on sorry if I missed it.
I would recomend some thing along the lines of the Fool Proff reciever sight. The Lyman and the Marbles tang sights with their small eyecups could be a hazard with heavy recoiling rounds if you dont wear good eye protection. Just my 2cents.
