Winchester Model 1895

Post by Tomcatt57 »

A couple of days ago I bought a Win 1895 that is new and unfired. The guy I got it from didn't have the box or manual. The serial # is NF17XX. It has the tang safety and 24" barrel. The receiver has a little scroll work on each side and has a matte finish. Barrel is polished blue. Cal. is 30-'06. Anybody have any idea when it was manufactured? It's really nice. Can't wait to shoot it. I paid $800. Did I do ok or did I overpay? Thanks for any info you can provide.

I'll see if I can remember how to get them from the camera to the computer and then to photobucket..
Nobody has any idea of a manufacture date?
