I was considering buying one of these to augment my balance beam scale. Has anybody here actually used this model? The reviews give it a 4.5 out of 5 so most seem to like it. But I have no experience at all with electronic scales.

Re-calibrate it each time you use it. And take the batteries out each time too, they go dead real fast.
Re: OT: Frankford Arsenal DS-750 Electronic Powder Scale
I bought one the last time they were on sale. I sent it back.
The one I had would not weigh to the next 1/10 gr.In other words,if I had a load at 25.5 gr and wanted 25.6 gr it would skip to 25.7 gr.or the reverse. It could have been a quirk of that scale,I don't know.I did not try another one.

Joe, once you get to using an electronic scale, you'll be kicking yourself for waiting so long...

I have one, no complaints, have had it for a couple of years at least, never replaced battery yet?

Re: OT: Frankford Arsenal DS-750 Electronic Powder Scale
I hate to say it but I went nuts and bought one of the LYMAN DPS 1200 3 automatic powder scales. I know its not the DS-750 but the scale part is probably made by the same maker in China (sorry to say). I haven't had any problems yet. The instructions do say to recalibrate it every time it's used. I loaded 60 rounds of .45-75 the evening before last and it threw a 25g charge of 5744 in about 15-20 seconds. By the time I had poured the powder into the case and placed a bullet in it, it had another charge ready. When I first got it I checked it against my RCBS 10-10 a lot, but it never varied from the preset charge.
