OT deer elk & sheep

Post by BigSky56 »

The mulies and cows are on the road to my place and the bighorn ewes where on the Kootenai River rd. They have ear tags as they were just moved from around flathead lake to here as the cougars and wolves have been hammering the local herd of sheep we had more than 150 and were down to 25-30 or so. The deer and elk I saw no fawns or calves either guess the wolves have been busy this summer. danny

We get to take 220 wolves this hunting season state wide which will give the game a break and the stock producers too, if I find wolves in the stock I can legally now give them a dirt nap. danny

thanks for the look into your area. the wolves seem to be very efficient hunters by all reports.
